Rohingyan Muslims have been in the news recently and it seems that nobody is there to help. These muslims have been left stranded on a boat, even though there are nearby so called muslim countries. Surely they should be helping them for that is what ummah truly means. "The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever." (Al-Bukhari and Muslim). It seems that not many Muslims are applying this hadith to the reality.
There is a link to a video for the catastrophe that has struck the ummah: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsD_0cTiyD0 |
