Assalamu'Alaikum, The best thing to do is to use something other than your own knowledge for Dawah...sometimes if you generalize rather than personalize your responses you might get your point across more clearly. Remember all questions by a non-muslim are valid if asked for the purpose of increasing their own personal knowledge vs. tearing apart what others believe. If you know this person you will be the best one to identify what her intentions are. If she truly wants general information than try using books, cds, vhs or dvds for Dawah...you can find good Dawah materials at some of these online sights... meccacentric, soundvision, astrolabe, or the islamic book store. Zakir Naik is a good resource but there are also many other resources as well some have been put into Dawah format already to address many common questions. But remember if she is only wanting to counter everything you have to say with a closed mind and heart to cause problems for others that may have an open mind and want to learn more about Islam for whatever reason than it is Allahs(swt) will. It states this many places in the Quran that Allah(swt) will close the hearts and minds of those that he wishes and open the hearts and minds of those that he wishes... May Allah(swt) guide you in your Dawah efforts. MasSalaama |

The Torah is not one book. It is a collection of religious documents written at different times. The Old Testament in the Bible is a reproduction of the Torah documents. There are many errors there. That is why many adherents of these Books talk say that they should not be taken literally. For an in depth discussion of this topic refer to The Bible, the Quran and Science by Dr. Maurice Bucaille. |
