	As Salamu Alaikum Wa rahmatullah Welcome to Islamicity, br. The site you shared is good. Can u kindly share the source of reading that dua 313 times. Insha Allah, if its proved authentic {from Qur'an and sunnah}, we shall recite it, Otherwise i shall prefer recites those duas any number of time, may even once, but out of heart {by understanding its meaning, instead of like chanting}.

	Thank you for the reply. even i had that doubt abt 313 till i came across it in a book of hadith, insha allah i will take a copy of it and post it to u shortly. i will explain wat i read here but i pray allah forgives me if i say anything wrong. During badr war prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam asked qatada raliyallahu.. how many ppl were in the muslim army and he replied 313 or 314 so prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam replied there were 313 ppl who crosses the river in the jalooth incident which is mentioned in quran where prophet dawood (A.S) beat the goliath Then prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam continued tat there were 313 mursal messengers out of all prophets sent by allah and now u are also 313 meaning they r also special or a victorious combination. I beg allah's forgiveness if anything said was wrong but insha allah will verify the authenticity and post the source soon. I agree tat not all have time to recite it 313 times and saying Once from the heart is enough and we can ask any number of times and allah subhanahu ta'ala is the ever merciful and bountiful and i pray he answers all our duas Edited by naveeth - 18 December 2009 at 8:08am
