read about it..

I say, only the almighty ALLAH knows when its coming, and I hope its not soon, with all the wars going, and the smoke which is a sign, meaning pollution. ICE CAPS are predicted to be melted entirely by 2010, and one of god's verse is that the world will end mostly by water, hence the sea levels growing.

This planet will never be destroyed says Allah:-

Ecclesiastes 1:4
A generation is going, and a generation is coming; but the earth is standing even to time indefinite.

Psalm 78:69
And he began to build his sanctuary just like the heights, Like the earth that he has founded to time indefinite.

Psalm 104:5
He has founded the earth upon its established places; It will not be made to totter to time indefinite, or forever.

Psalm 119:90
Your faithfulness is for generation after generation. You have solidly fixed the earth, that it may keep standing.

Robin sorry to say it, but your Bible disagrees with you again:
Genesis 6:13 So God said to Noah, "I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.

Shall we call it an other contradiction of the Bible or will we will carve up some explaination?

Hasan

Not so when you understand what The Bible really means:-

Genesis 6:13
So God said to Noah, "I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them
and the earth.

Again you totaly neglect or do not understand the context:-

So what was "the earth" God was going to "destroy"?

Here it is:-

Genesis 11:1
Now all the earth* continued to be of one language and of one set of words**.

KJV Gen 11:1 And the wholeH3605 earthH776* wasH1961 of oneH259 language,H8193** and of oneH259 speech.H1697

*Strong's Hebrew Dictionary No. 776  ארץ   'erets  eh'-rets  From an unused root probably meaning to be firm; the earth (at large, or partitively a land): - X common, country, earth, field, ground, land, X nations, way, + wilderness, world.

**Footnote  Or, "of one vocabulary."

**Strong's Hebrew Dictionary No. 1697  דּבר   dâbâr  daw-bawr'   From H1696; a word; by implication a matter (as spoken of) of thing; adverbially a cause: - act, advice, affair, answer, X any such (thing), + because of, book, business, care, case, cause, certain rate, + chronicles, commandment, X commune (-ication), + concern [-ing], + confer, counsel, + dearth, decree, deed, X disease, due, duty, effect, + eloquent, errand, [evil favoured-] ness, + glory, + harm, hurt, + iniquity, + judgment, language, + lying, manner, matter, message, [no] thing, oracle, X ought, X parts, + pertaining, + please, portion, + power, promise, provision, purpose, question, rate, reason, report, request, X (as hast) said, sake, saying, sentence, + sign, + so, some [uncleanness], somewhat to say, + song, speech, X spoken, talk, task, + that, X there done, thing (concerning), thought, + thus, tidings, what [-soever], + wherewith, which, word, work.

So Gen 11:1 in the context of God's mission for Noah etc. "the earth" in reffering to the whole of the human race as they had "one set of words" or "languange" so it is not talking of the planet it is speaking of humans!

Again scritpture taken out of context so as to misquote and mislead!

2 Peter 3:10
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.

So what will be "destroyed"?  The ontext reveals; which you again totaly neglect, very unscholerly and shows lake of any depth of true understanding of what Tye Bible realy says!

Here in Ch. 3 Peter draws a paralle with the flood of Noah's day (as above) and says:-

2 Peter 3:5-7
For, according to their wish, this fact escapes their notice, that there were heavens from of old and an earth standing compactly out of water and in the midst of water by the word of God; 6 and by those [means] the world of that time suffered destruction when it was deluged with water. 7 But by the same word the heavens and the earth that are now are stored up for fire and are being reserved to the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly men.

Then the planet during the flood was not destroyed, only humans that God considered to be wicked thus, Peter here shows the God will do the same thing again and bring about the "destruction of the ungodly men" NOT THIS PLANET, SO THIS PLANT WILL LAST FOREVER AS ALLAH SAYS.

The way you use the Bible confirms to me that you do not even know what you are talking about what it come to The Bible!

I remain convinced that The Quran has accurately described how the world will end; and the Quranic description is supported by modern science.  Our sun will eventually undergo a "supernova" as it approaches its death.  It will result in an expansion of the sun's circumference, causing temperatures on earth to soar, literally boiling our oceans and incinerating everything on land.  Tremendous geological upheaval will occur before this mass incineration, simply because of the sun's increased electromagnetic activity prior to it going supernova.  Scientifically, this event is far off into the future, and only Allah truly knows when the time will come.

May Allah bless you for your personal Jihad - and ease your struggles. . . your delight with your discovery of Islam is contagious Bro. . . :)

Just one thing tht popped into my mind, and I thought I'd add, for the benefit of non-muslim readers.

Islam is not a monastic religion - hence 'women' are not considered a devil's weapon of mass distraction . . . rather,  its natural and acceptable for Men in Islam to have an 'eye' for women within marital boundaries.

The friends of God will certainly have nothing to fear, nor will they be grieved. Al Quran 10:62

Robin, you have given three verses of chapter 4 as follows:

Su 4:163 We have sent thee Inspiration, as We sent it To Noah and the Messengers After him: We sent Inspiration to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob And the Tribes, to Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, And to David We gave The Psalms

164 Of some apostles We have Already told thee the story; Of others we have not;- And Moses God spoke direct;-

165 Apostles who gave good news As well as warning, That mankind, after (the coming) Of the apostles, should have No plea against God: For God is Exalted in Power,

I do not know from where you have taken the translation. But there are variations / diversions and translation is not exact, at least it is misguiding. Please see the right translation below because you had used the wrong words to translate the words Nabiyyeen and rasool and Rusul. See the three verses below with very little change made therein for your guidance. And please note that Wahi is not inspiration. And messengers are not apostles.

Su 4:163 We have sent thee Revelation (Wahi), as We sent it To Noah and the prophets After him: We sent Revelation to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob And the Tribes, to Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, And to David We gave The Psalms.

164 Of some messengers We have Already told thee the story; Of others we have not;- And Moses God spoke direct;-

165 Messengers who gave good news As well as warning, That mankind, after (the coming) Of the messengers, should have No plea against God: For God is Exalted in Power,

004.163
YUSUFALI: We have sent thee inspiration, as We sent it to Noah and the Messengers after him: we sent inspiration to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes, to Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and solomon, and to David We gave the Psalms.
PICKTHAL: Lo! We inspire thee as We inspired Noah and the prophets after him, as We inspired Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the tribes, and Jesus and Job and Jonah and Aaron and Solomon, and as We imparted unto David the Psalms;
SHAKIR: Surely We have revealed to you as We revealed to Nuh, and the prophets after him, and We revealed to Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq and Yaqoub and the tribes, and Isa and Ayub and Yunus and Haroun and Sulaiman and We gave to Dawood

004.164
YUSUFALI: Of some messengers We have already told thee the story; of others We have not;- and to Moses Allah spoke direct;-
PICKTHAL: And messengers We have mentioned unto thee before and messengers We have not mentioned unto thee; and Allah spake directly unto Moses;
SHAKIR: And (We sent) messengers We have mentioned to you before and messengers we have not mentioned to you; and to Musa, Allah addressed His Word, speaking (to him):

004.165
YUSUFALI: Messengers who gave good news as well as warning, that mankind, after (the coming) of the messengers, should have no plea against Allah: For Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.
PICKTHAL: Messengers of good cheer and of warning, in order that mankind might have no argument against Allah after the messengers. Allah was ever Mighty, Wise.
SHAKIR: (We sent) messengers as the givers of good news and as warners, so that people should not have a plea against Allah after the (coming of) messengers; and Allah is Mighty, Wise.

I thought the Islam taught the the Quran never changed?

Thus The Bible is to be followed.

YUSUFALI: But because of their breach of their covenant, We cursed them, and made their hearts grow hard; they change the words from their places and forget a good part of the message that was sent them, nor wilt thou cease to find them- barring a few - ever bent on deceits: but forgive them, and overlook: for Allah loveth those who are kind.
PICKTHAL: And because of their breaking their covenant, We have cursed them and made hard their hearts. They change words from their context and forget a part of that whereof they were admonished. Thou wilt not cease to discover treachery from all save a few of them. But bear with them and pardon them. Lo! Allah loveth the kindly.
SHAKIR: But on account of their breaking their covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hard; they altered the words from their places and they neglected a portion of what they were reminded of; and you shall always discover treachery in them excepting a few of them; so pardon them and turn away; surely Allah loves those who do good.

This is not talking about the written words and that they changed them in writing, but have twisted the meanings in their minds.  If the Quran is talking about the written word isn't there a word for BOOK in arabic?

No scribe is mentioned as changing the written word.  Are there arabic words for these thought?

The Dead Sea Scrolls show us that the writen words have not changed
