Salam Alaikom. Yes the title says it. For 1400 years Muslims have been telling Christians that Jesus Christ told his disciples that a man will come after him by the name of Ahmad which is another name for Mohammed (and so does the Quran). Christians say that it is impossible for the comfortable who Jesus peace be upon him spoke of to be Mohammed. Now, finally, the truth is revealed. Its in Mel Gibson's controversial movie, The Passion of the Christ. Can you believe it? We've all seen this movie, but we never focused closesly and analyzed, watch closely and prepare for your shock: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9k-c7HWyfPE

Its not Mel Gibson's version(true the movie is,but not the language),Jesus spoke Aramaic as a day to day language, but also spoke Hebrew..Part of the book of Daniel was written in Aramaic as well, you can ask any biblical scholar. The Aramaic word for God is Ellah, which is the same as Allah. Also the hebrew word for God is Eloah in the singular and Elohim in the simi plural. Thats why we see in the Gospels that Jesus was said to have said Eli Eli lama Sabacthanai while on the cross its Aramaic which means My God My God why have you forsaken me? Yahweh or Jehovah is Hebrew and means the Self Existing One,or The Eternal..but is translated as LORD in most translations. The Hebrew for Lord or Master is Adonai, not YHVW(Hebrew form of Yahweh or Jehovah). I dont know about that. Elah in Arabic means a god. The God means Allah. But maybe the languages are different, Allah knows.

You may be correct, the point I was trying to make is that Arabic,Aramaic and Hebrew are all Semitic languages and the names for God are similar. |
