Hello,

Difficulties in life may be holding beauties beneath. People who don't encounter hard times anytime in their lives (either economical, or related to health or social problems) may not awaken, and may not search the "hikmet" (the reason, the understanding) of life.

Remember that Muhammed also lost his loved ones, he is left alone in his invitation and is stoned by children in Taif. But he new that Allah is together with the patient ones. "There certainly is a facility after every difficulty" says Kuran.

I hope you will be patient. Allah never loads someone beyond he or she can carry.

Not only you but many others who dare to think on life and beyond, ask these questions to themselves. Why wars, why diseases, why disasters?

Life is important of course, but may not be as long lasting as we think. It is said to be a blinking time when compared to the other world. Life is a platform of examination. Questions you encounter in the exam paper are not punishments to you, are they? And people who experience terrible diseases or accidents are not the guilty ones of humanity, whereas people who live in comfort and wealth are not the most innocent.

If we imagine a world without anything black, a life without any problems, then why do we-human have the very differentiating and important specialty among other creatures; that is our will. The power to choose.

I hope you will be thinking on these questions and exercise on the topic. And I thank you for your contribuiton.

I was taught that this is an imperfect world, and due to the fall of Adam and Eve their sins were visited upon their children, and because of this there are wars, diseases, disasters. etc

I do agree if we had a world were there were no problems we would not learn patience, tolerance, love, endurance, etc, and probably no reason to beleive in Allah or what ever God we believe in. it would be a dull boring world. But I still don't understand it sometimes. A friend always tells me "This too shall pass" or "You're right where you're suppose to be" At times I hate these statements, but they are true. No two days are the same, no two minutes are the same, time is always moving ahead.

I don't agree with the adage of the sins of the parents are visited on their children. I don't think Allah punishes us in that respect. The imperfect world part makes more sense to me. And perhaps a test to see how we exercise our free will. All I know what to do is ask for help in dealing with these problems from Allah and from others.

Asalaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatulla Wa Barakatahu

Sometimes Allah breaks our spirit to save our soul.

Sometimes He breaks our heart to make us whole.

Sometimes Allah allows pain so we can be stronger.

Sometimes Allah sends us failure so we can be humble.

Sometimes Allah allows illness so we can take better care of ouselves.

Sometimes Allah takes everything away from us so we can learn the value of everything He gave us.

Make plans, but understand that we live by Allah's grace......ameen

Book 032, Number 6242:

Abu Sa'id and abu Huraira reported that they heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Never a believer is stricken with discomfort, hardship or illness, grief or even with mental worry that his sins are not expiated for him.

Book 032, Number 6241:

'A'isha reported: I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: There is nothing (in the form of trouble) that comes to a believer even if it is the pricking of a thorn that there is decreed for him by Allah good or his sins are obliterated.

Book 032, Number 6235:

'Abdullah reported: I visited Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as he was running high temperature. I touched his body with my bard and said to him: Allah's Messenger, you are running high temperature, whereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Yes, it is so. I comparatively have a more severe fever than any one of you. I said: Is it because there is a double reward in store for you? Thereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Yes, it is so. And Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) again said: When a Muslim falls ill, his compensation is that his minor sins are obliterated just as leaves tall (in autumn). In the hadith transmitted on the authority of Zubair there is (no mention of these words):" I touched his body with my hands."

Book 032, Number 6233:

'A'isha reported, I did not see anyone else being afflicted with more severe illness than Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him). & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp;
