Obligatory prayers are offered 5 times a day. Ongoing discussion in the thread was not about other non-obligatory prayers. Therefore, it required clarification, at least for those visiting the forum at varying learning levels.

Assalamu'Alaikum,

Mash'Allah, isn't it amazing how it takes thousands of years and all kinds of statistics to bring out the importance of something as simple as the act of washing your hands can be to the general public.

When we as muslims have known the responsibilities given to us by Allah(swt) and taught to us by Prophet Muhammad(pbuh)... 

Insha'Allah this is a perfect Dawah topic that can open the door for interfaith dialogue in out local communities....
