This is only a scenario and may or may not apply to anyone in real life.
A 21 year old man is Muslim who reads the Quran and prays and makes dua but this man isn't a perfect Muslim. He doesn't follow his religion through he doesn't pray 5x a day or he doesnt always make the right decisions. He made a dua for the perfect girlfriend at the age of 16 and Allah swt answer his prayers and to him she was the most nicest and pure hearted girl he's met but she wasn't a muslim, he has been with her since he was 16 and they've both loved each other so much that they couldn't go a day without talking for 2 minutes. But this man makes a lot of mistakes as well (fornicating before marriage, and etc...) he isn't perfect but he still knows his religion. The life of today's world gets the better of him. But this man is also a pure hearted man, who doesn't hesitate to help people or give charity, hes really well mannered, he loves everything Allah swt has given him and thanks him, he couldn't have asked for a better life. Then calamity or a test from Allah swt happens. A test could've been anything from his mother passing away or something caused a split between him and his girlfriend, or even a big financial crisis that really put this man in a big depression state. Regardless of what happen this man was so heart broken and traumatized that he took his own life. He knew the repercussions of it as well but the man was so traumatized he couldn't think straight and took his own life. So we all know that Allah swt tests us, we either fail it or pass it, we all know he failed it because he took his own life. But at the same time neither of us know where he will be in the next life Allah swt knows best. My question here is not to stray people off the right path may Allah swt keep us all on the right path. My question for the community is : was his life for nothing (he was believer but took his own life). what was this suppose to demonstrate for us? Now I'm not looking for definite answers because Allah swt knows best but I'm just looking for thoughts on why you think this may have happened. Thank you and may Allah bless us and give us good fortune. |

What has it demonstrated to you? Was his life for nothing? Why do you think this may have happened?
