I am very soft natured and my husband to be and in laws are tramping all over me.

I had a similar problem to yours too, when i was engaged before. My then future husband and his parents were very dominating and it was really tough for me.

I suggest you first confront your husband and tell him how you feel about everything. If you do not stand up for yourself it will go on and on, and you will be miserable.

I am now married to a wonderful man and his family are really good to me, alhamdulillah.

It takes courage to confront someone, but surely your feelings should mean something to them if they really care about you. It always helps to speak out. You do not have to be rude or offensive, be calm and say what you feel.
