I have just joined this forum and even though I am a Christian trying to learn about Islam and the way of Muslim's I am abslolutely amazed by the lack or respect some people seem to have for the Islam faith when they write in this forum. I would have thought that we are here to learn about Islam not to complain about it. Yes I do get very confused about how to learn about Islam. The more, I read, the more I know I have so much to learn, but lets face it there are many good things about Islam, many things Muslm's are better at doing than we Christians are e.g the way they look after their families. I really feel angry that some people who write here seem only to do it to degrade Muslim's and their faith. I am here cos I want to learn and not to hurt my Muslim friends inadvertantly by my actions. What do other p eole think? ------------- Chris |

Welcome Chris, all I will say is that we have a belief in Islam that it is our intentions and actions that count. You have good intentions God knows that and will reward you, someone have bad intentions, they will pay for their own. Go ahead and feel free to ask the questions you have, One at a time please, there are many learned brothers and sisters here that will reply God willing, Hasan ------------- The friends of God will certainly have nothing to fear, nor will they be grieved. Thanks for that it is much appreciated.I have a very special Muslim friend and I know some of the things that I have read on here would really upset him. I was upset enough and I am only just learning the rules. I understand what you say and appreciate it. Well it's now down to me to continue learning more, there seems so much to learn! ------------- Chris |

Hi Chris, Welcome to the forum. I hope you also realise, that all muslims vary in their obedience to following Islam. We are all human beings after all. We also come here for answers, as we dont know it all. After time, you will feel relaxed here. And most of us also know some very good muslims too Take care ------------- some of us are a lot like cement:- all mixed up and permanently set |
Please ask as many questions as you like, as we will always try to answer truthfully. Islam is a wonderful religion. And you are coming to realise this too. That's great!
