KUALA LUMPUR, MalaysiaIran has been kicked out of an international defense show in Malaysia for exhibiting missile equipment in violation of U.N. rules, an official said Thursday.

Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak said Iranian companies were ordered out of the Defense Services Asia show Tuesday because their exhibition was deemed "offensive."

Those dang I-rain-ee-anns; why dont they make defensive missiles like everybody else?

Those Err-rain-nians should have displayed armors, shells, breastplates..hmmm what else? Body armors (they are of the same kind LOL),etc..etc.. as their defense equipment instead of missile equipments which is a sign of aggression...UnhappyErmm

The news article is real. It was reported yesterday.
It went on to say showing missiles was not against the rules; after all other countries were showing them. But Iranians were not allowed to show because of US led UN sanctions.
The funney part is Iranians were showing their missiles in order to generate sales. I think we should let them sell as many missiles as possible. Then, they won't have enough left over to be a "threat". Especially since they only have a fraction of US arsenal to begin with.

I thought the best defence was a good offence Big%20smile

Could they not just say we do not want Iran to increase military cooperation with other Asian countries.

Even a broken stone off Tehrans pavements can be used as an offensive weapon. Oh no no, there pebbles on the beach are great danger! Confused

Iranians were displaying items in violation of United Nations Security Council Resolutions 1747 and 1803.

Its most probably Malaysia did not want to cause any problems with the International Society (you know what I mean). I could understand this. And if there are no other missiles on show there; that is fair.
