Hi I have heard that the movie 300 was banned in Iran and Malaysia. I do know why it was banned in Iran, because the enemy shown were 'Persians' (which is kind of st**id, because so what if the Persians were shown as the enemy, They didnt bring in Islam! And Persia was an older civilization of what is Iran today! Why did they take offense to that?)

Anyway . . .I recently found out that the Malaysian censor board banned local channels from running 300. Any one know why? I was just curious thats all. Because I do not see any Anti-Islam defamation in there . . .and there possibly couldnt be another reason. . . since they run basically everything else. . .

Anyone have any opinions/comments on that?

Oops! I think I re-posted! There is already another Thread in this forum with the same theme. I apologize! didnt see it at first. Tho my question is a lil different. The mods can delete it if they deem fit!

Perhaps I should pay more attention! heh. But until the mods delete this (if they do) pl do post your comments.
