asalaamu alaikum Yesterday I was working in my store and a muslim women and her husband came in. I greeted them in arabic and helped them buy whatever it was that they wanted. I noticed that the woman wasn't wearing the usual hijab but a black dress which covered everything except her eyes. No, just modest loose clothing and a head cover that covers the chest. Some women prefer to wear burqas because of their culture or they feel it is more modest, but it isn't mandatory Islamically.
