There is some American Islam leader I saw in a video who says that pianos are not allowed in Islam. I assume this is a very strict view and that most Muslims are free to enjoy the piano. Does anyone know who this leader is that I saw?

I know not any such  American leader, but can you let us know the reason he stated while explaining that pianos are not allowed in Islam

Yusuf Islam (aka pop star Cat Stevens) said that he didn't play guitar for many years after becoming a Muslim because he was told that it (or music generally) was haram. But then he realised that other views said that music is ok.
