please who are called the people of the book? Is it christians.

Welcome to our boards of discussions sister. You had few questions, but posted in an other section, which is not meant for discussion. So we cud not answer them.

Quran terms "Ahle kitab" i.e People of Book to both christians and Jews as well. Bible and Torah were revealed for them respectively.
