assalamualaikum... i had a fair bit of confusion... i've been doing some research on the net regarding Sayeda Fatima Az-Zahra S.A. Prophet Muhammad's S.A.W. most beloved daughter and would like to create a blog about her life story.. i got a bit confused when i found this verse in one of the website which stated:

She is Fatima Zahra (A.S.) whom Allah praises, and is "satisfied with her satisfaction, and is angered when she is angered."

what is that mean exactly? and is there such hadith that say as such this?

and other thing, i have known she had quite number of titles given to her but as far as everybody are concerned she is called Az-Zahra (which means the Splendid One)... i have also encounter other names such as Al-Tahirah, Al-Zakiyyah, Ar-Radiatul Mardhiyah, Umm-ul-Abeeha etc... is this true?

please i call out every brothers and sisters in Islam, please help me..

may Allah bless you and protect you.. i'll pray for every muslims in this world to be safe in Allah's hands and insya Allah, we will be the among the people who reside in Jannah...

salam....

Walaikum Salam wa Rahmatullah,

Welcome to Islamicity.

Sister, you must have gone thru a site of shias. They often quote this hadith  to criticise Abu Bakr RA. This hadith is actually in this context. It is narrated in both the books of Bukhari and Muslim.

It was narrated that al-Miswar ibn Makhramah said: Ali proposed to the daughter of Abu Jahl. When Fatimah heard of that she came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said to him: Your people are saying that you do not get angry for the sake of your daughters, and Ali is going to marry the daughter of Abu Jahl. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up and I heard him when he recited the shahaadah, then he said: I gave a daughter of mine in marriage to Abul-Aas ibn al-Rabee, and when he spoke he told me the truth. Fatimah bint Muhammad is a part of me, and I do not like for her to be hurt. By Allaah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah and the daughter of the enemy of Allah will not be joined together as wives of one man. So Ali abandoned that proposal. According to a version narrated by al-Bukhaari: Fatimah is part of me and whoever angers her angers me. [al-Bukhaari no. 3523 and 3556; Muslim, no. 2449].

So it was said in this context. The anger in the hadith was for that specific reason. As said earlier, it is misquoted by the other group.

Regarding the other titles of Fatima RA, i have no knowledge of them. But yes, if they are from sites of shiates, kindly be careful , as they exaggerate the whole family of our Prophet.
