sorry if the name offends anyone" NewToAllah" I could see how it would Allah is not new to us,But what i ment was i am new to being Muslim. I dont know how to change it. could someone tell me,I am very sorry. When i came up with it .it was not ment for disrespect to allah or anyone else.

I became a Muslim yesterday. I am very proud of that. When I am thinking about Islam. I sometimes tend to have a flash of something negative. Please read all the way. Now This morning it happened again. But something inside me said, He may walk through your mind But not Through your heart or soul. Not as if someone said it to me direct. But a feeling close to me that was expressed in words. a feeling expressed in words.
They say muslims sometimes dont understand till they are forty? Can it happen sooner then that. For a person to under stand in there heart that allah is the way. I do not come from a holy background. But when a Muslim told me what he believes in. Automatic I felt in My heart without Question, without question I am 27. I have always felt as though I was lost to mankind as if I was not ment to be here. And in this last 2 weeks I have felt more  for Allah and the words of Muhammad. then I have ever felt a feeling in my life.
I am not arabic But inside I feel no different. I have never wanted to speak something besides english in my life. As in really trying to learn on my own. I read in the Quran 12.2 It was sent down in Arabic so you can learn/ and understand. I see meaning in everything I do now. Allahu Akbar

As Salamu Alaikum

My dear brother, none of us got offended. I was just trying to explain our relation with Allah swt , with the thought that you must not be knowing.. Don't take it hard on yourselves. Infact am sorry if you got offended

InshaAllah , now the more you read Qur'an and try to gain more knowledge of Islam, you shall see how it reaches your heart and soul. Allah swt said us very clearly in the Qur'an that Satan is our open-enemy. Satan tries to stray us from the right path. So  its all whispering of satan that going on presently in you. It happens to us as well, that satan whispers us, we then simply  seek refuge from Allah of satan.

Its a misconception that sometimes muslims don't understand until forty. InshaAllah, it shall proved by yourselves over the boards. We shall all help you to understand more of Islam. Kindly stay active

Its good to know that you wish to learn arabic. You are learning on your own ?

Anyways, kindly stay in touch.  May Allah help all of us to be a good practicing muslim. Ameen

What is the flash of negative feelings?  Are you tinking of a certain part of Islam when the negative feeling hits you?

Do you mean that the negative feeling is -   "..., He may walk through your mind But not Through your heart or soul."

Its good to know that you wish to learn arabic. You are learning on your own ? I'm trying to but i'm going to have to step it up. because not speaking arabic is confusing me in prayer. I am getting confused in the order of when to pray, and when to bow . And because that is hard I feel like I will not have a relationship with allah so i'm putting all this extra things on my shoulders so its making me feel like how can i be saved if allah cant hear me. ANOTHER thing

so many people are asking me questions looking at me like I cant be serious and trying to make me see other ways, But i see no point in there way, but i feel bad because I want to save them from there selfs.but how can a man like myself preach to someone when i myself cant do things right either

Saturday January 10th 2009 11:00 am (est), A day of raising hands in appeal to Allah.

We Muslims as a community are, more than ever before, in need of the help of Allah SWT.  As Muslims, we have the greatest power in the universe; prayer and the belief in the Almighty Allah.

Therefore, Muslims, individuals, rich and poor, men, women and children are urged to stand together peacefully, in congregation all around the world on Saturday January 10th 2009 11:00 am (est ) in one public place in our respective communities and simply raise our hands and plead with Allah for his help. There will be no violence of any sort because our only weapon will be prayer. Leaders of the Muslim world must act now, and come together for this single show of unity.  Because brothers and sisters, if not now then when?

U can find the timing details from http://www.islamicfinder.org/ - islamic finder,

p.s:. it would be nice to hv resource center for new muslims, so tht it is easier for them to find such details and also easier for users who are trying to help them.
