| Come supporting earth hour, the annual international event created by the WWF that asks households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change. Earth Hour will next take place on March 28, 2009 at 8:30 pm, local time. Come muslims, let the world know that muslims also united. |

I celibrated by turning on every light I have after driving nearly 110 miles during work, and I ended my evening with a big juicey steak. Wonderful day! And I almost forgot to mention I cranked up my air conditioner. You know something, as much as I think this is a great thing and it helps the earth AT THE TIME of that 1 hour but its also a joke because at christmas time, all those lights on the houses to decorate..is ON!!! -------------  ~ Our feet are earthbound, but our hearts and our minds have wings ~

That is a funny thing Angel. Personally I do not think that earth hour helps the earth simply because the premise behind such an hour is faulty. The whole movement is about control over rescources and our lives. A lot lf people have a great deal at stake to make tons of money for so called "green technology", which will cost us more in the end.
