Since
taking office, Obama, wittingly or otherwise, has headed the largest
criminal enterprise in history - the mass looting of national wealth to
enrich his Wall Street benefactors. He assembled a rogue economic team
of Clinton/Robert Rubin retreads - to fix the current crisis they
engineered. http://sjlendman.blogspot.com/2009/04/barack-obama-crime-boss.html - Barack Obama: Crime Bossclick for the complete article

Hey since you seem to know the truth about everything in the world why don't we see you running for any office so that you can actually make a difference? Why just hide in a message board and do nothing to improve this country?

Someone once said, 'a time and place for everything', and in all fairness, this is a message board, so posting articles seems appropriate. Stephen Lendman has an opinion, Sign*Reader has shared it with us. Agree or disagree, but this is what makes IC message board interesting, that is, for me anyway.

ops I found this article, I am not asking you to read it, let others do that..they may find it worthwhile!
I had my misgivings and they are being proven right by the designated messiah... David Green's essay is just in time before his votaries are clobbered in Nov. http://www.regressiveantidote.net/Articles/Our_Long_National_Nighmare_Isnt_Over,_Its_Just_Beginning.html - http://www.regressiveantidote.net/Articles/Our_Long_National_Nighmare_Isn%27t_Over,_It%27s_Just_Beginning.html

The article is true enough, but it is only half the truth. The unspoken implication is that whoever replaces Obama---a Republican---will be an improvement. That is simply false. The same points the article makes about Obama were made about Bush in the last couple years of his regime. The American political process is broken. Folks had better start thinking about what comes next. If you read other forums, we're witnessing the birth of an America fascism, as predicted by Sinclair Lewis. One that wraps itself in the flag and flourishes the Cross.

McNally to Bacevich: Let me quote a July article you wrote called Non
Believer, in which you contrast George Bush and Barack Obama. You write:
When Bush stands before his maker he will say without fear of
contradiction, I did what I thought was right. On the other hand, when
called upon to account for his presidency, honesty will prevent Obama
from making a comparable claim. The problems I inherited were difficult
ones, he will say. None of the choices were good ones. Things were
complicated. The question demands to be asked, who is more deserving of
contempt: the commander in chief who sends young Americans to die for a
cause, however misguided, in which he sincerely believes, or the
commander in chief who sends young Americans to die for a cause in which
he manifestly does not believe and yet refuses to forsake? http://www.alternet.org/story/148094/americas_empire_and_endless_wars_are_destroying_the_world%2C_and_ruining_our_great_country?page=entire - The interview!
It is quite enlightening talk about what is happening and why!
America's Empire and Endless Wars Are Destroying the World, and Ruining Our Great Country
For more than 50 years, Washington has subscribed to the
absurd notion that America can police the world with military action.
All we've managed to do is bankrupt our country.
