Asalam walakum I have a question about duaa. Does making duaa to Allah really happen. I mean is there anyone that made Duaa and Allah granted it. Because I have been making Duaa for something really serious to Allah and it looks like he does not want to grant it. I mean I made duaa atleast like 3 time and I made wudu I sat towards the kahbah and I begged to him really deeply. It is a very serous problem and its really frustrating me. Please help....

You know, when I was a child, I asked my parents for things many times.  Only if I was meant to have it, did I receive it.

The best we can expect is to come to terms and have strength and sabr in regards to our issues.  If what we want comes true then that is a bonus.

InshaAllah you will have peace with whatever outcome there is sister.

My dear.. I feel of you. I know how you feel. But I want to remind you to be more patient. Maybe Allah likes you and wants to hear your voice asking Him. And don't give up keep on Dua'a. You will be rewarded just for your Dua'a even if Allah didn't reply.
And like what sister Muna said; just when you ask your parents something. But remember you cried alot when they refuse?
Do the same with Allah. Cry to Him a lot. Let Him see how weak and poor you are. Pray in the times mentioned in Hadith. Read the supplication times; my topic on this page.
Don't give up.. Allah the merciful will respond one day..
