Assalamu alaikum Nadir, Midway, Amir, Well....

You seem very...I don't know what word to use - tortured?, confused? full of angst?, ... maybe I am not even close?

I do pray that Allah will bestow Mercy on you and that you will get the help you are seeking.

Peace, ummziba.

You seem very...I don't know what word to use - tortured?, confused? full of angst?, ... maybe I am not even close?

Allahs religion is primarily for the poor & oppressed

Faith is for the poor and oppressed,

To help them through the oppression they endure!

The rich use religion to try & justify their position,

Ill slap you in the face if you come to me with your oppression!

Have I been talking to a brick wall?

Or are you siding with your leaders who oppress one and all?

Greedy, selfish, snobbery to which they call,

Is certainly not Allahs religion that is meant for us all!

My words will pierce your soul if you come to me with your oppression!

Wondering why people side with corrupt leaders who oppress them all?

Soul Rebel

Bob Marley/Soul Rebel

A significant development. A Lee Perry production, "Soul Rebel" features Aston and Carlton Barrett, formerly with The Hippy Boys, the Perry house band that pre-dated The Upsetters, on bass and drums. Together this team forged The Wailers' sound - crisp, militant, liltingly poetic, on the edge - that was to become their international trademark. Immediately these Perry-produced songs were released, they became the favourite tunes at every dance on the island. At last: Wailers Rule. Playing at such clubs as The Glass Bucket at Crossroads, The Silver Slipper on Forest Roads, the Prime Time, The VIP Club, and the Sombrero, The Wailers made their first steps from Trench Town to uptown with this song.

I'm a rebel, soul rebel.
I'm a capturer, soul adventurer.
I'm a rebel, soul rebel.
I'm a capturer, soul adventurer.

See the morning sun, the morning sun,
On the hillside.
If you're not living good, travel wide,
You gotta travel wide.
Said I'm a living man,
And I've got work to do.
If you're not happy, children,
Then you must be blue,
Must be blue, people say.

I'm a rebel, let them talk,
Soul rebel, talk won't bother me.
I'm a capturer, that'w what they say,
Soul adventurer, night and day.
I'm a rebel, soul rebel.
Do you hear them lippy.
I'm a capturer, gossip around the corner,
Soul adventurer. How they adventure on me.

But, see the morning sun, the morning sun,
On the hillside.
If you're not living good, travel wide,
You gotta travel wide.
Said I'm a living man,
I've got work to do.
If you're not happy, then you must be blue,
Must be blue, people say.

I'm a rebel, soul rebel.
I'm a capturer, soul adventurer.
Do you hear me?
I'm a rebel, rebel in the morning.
Soul rebel, rebel at midday time.

Exodus

http://www.bobmarley.com/songs/ram/exodus.ram">

Bob Marley

"Exodus," which moved Bob into an era of international hits, was a vast change of style. Recorded in London after Bob left Jamaica when he was shot in December 1976; he had determined the title of the LP before the title track was even recorded.

The title track, the first single to receive widespread airplay on black radio stations in the United States, concerned a final journey - of Damnation for some, of Resurrection for others. The central message, though, was a vision of glorious end to the suffering of all Jah's people.

Exodus, movement of Jah people, oh yeah
Open your eyes and let me tell you this

Men and people will fight ya down (Tell me why?)
  when ya see Jah light
Let me tell you, if you're not wrong (Then why?)
  ev'rything is alright
So we gonna walk, alright, through the roads of creation
We're the generation (Tell me why)
  trod through great tribulation

Exodus, movement of Jah people
Exodus, movement of Jah people

Open your eyes and look within
Are you satisfied with the life you're living?
We know where we're going; we know where we're from
We're leaving Babylon, we're going to our fatherland

Exodus, movement of Jah people
(Movement of Jah people)
Send us another Brother Moses gonna cross the Red Sea
(Movement of Jah people)
Send us another Brother Moses gonna cross the Red Sea

Exodus, movement of Jah people
Exodus, Exodus, Exodus, Exodus,
Exodus, Exodus, Exodus, Exodus
Move! Move! Move! Move! Move! Move!

Open your eyes and look within
Are you satisfied with the life you're living?
We know where we're going; we know where we're from
We're leaving Babylon, we're going to the fatherland

Exodus, movement of Jah people
Exodus, movement of Jah people
Movement of Jah people (4 times)
Move! Move! Move! Move! Move! Move!

Jah come to break down 'pression, rule equality
Wipe away transgression, set the captives free

Exodus, movement of Jah people
Exodus, movement of Jah people
Movement of Jah people (5 times)

Move! Move! Move! Move! Move! Move!
Movement of Jah people (5 times)

Glen Washington - Win or Lose

I know the road is ruff

But love conquers everyone

Get it over with,

Get it over with right now,

Now, now

__________

Truth was hidden from the wise and prudent

Now revealed to babies alone

Im still holding my ground

I know Jah ll never let me down

Im still working hard to free my people

Let them stand, let them over-stand

Loves the only way

I feel it every time that I pray

__________

Win or lose,

It is righteousness that I choose

Im rejected, abused and refused

But Im holding on to the only way

Win or lose,

Never let Babylon confuse (you)

Its the Mercies of God that I use

To help me make it along the way

__________

We should take some time to think things over

Although the wicked ones think they are clever

We will chant them down

Like Jericho walls fell down

I never cared about the new-world-order

I report to the Father alone

That is the wages of sin

The gift of Jah is life

__________

Win or lose,

It is righteousness that I choose

Im rejected, abused and refused

But Im holding on to the only way

Win or lose,

Never let Babylon confuse (you)

Its the Mercies of God that I use

To help me make it along the way

I know the road is ruff

But love conquers everyone

Get it over with,

Get it over with right now,

Now, now, now

__________

Now I was born a ruff-neck soldier

I chose to love and now my joys coming over

And it feels so right

Blessings of love shinning bright

It is all about the ways of the righteous

In the judgement the wicked cant stand

They will fade away

They do it every time that I pray

__________

Win or lose,

It is righteousness that I choose

Im rejected, abused and refused

But Im holding on to the only way

Win or lose,

Never let Babylon confuse (you)

Its the Mercies of God that I use

I know that it is the only way

I know the road is ruff

But love conquers everyone

Get it over with,

Get it over with right now,

Now, now.

Soul Rebel

I'm a rebel, soul rebel.

Holy Qur'an

Surat At-Triq

13. Verily! This (the Qur'an) is the Word that separates (truth from falsehood).

14. And it is not a thing for amusement.

15. Verily, they are but plotting a plot (against you O Muhammad).

16. And I (too) am planning a plan.

17. So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal you gently with them for a while.

Holy Qur'an

Surat Al-Isr'

107. Say (O Muhammad to them): "Believe in it (the Qur'n) or do not believe (in it). Verily! Those who were given knowledge before it, when it is recited to them, fall down on their faces in humble prostration."

Prepare for Him

I see the rain in the distance falling

Heaven and earth will soon be calling

Prepare for Him

Weve got to prepare for Him,

Now, now, now

Often I hear the children crying

Brothers of mine I see them dying

It shameful but someones got to pay for it

Out on the streets their calling for order

But their own people committing murder

Its painful but someones got to pay for it

I hear the choir in the distance singing

Doorbells of freedom I hear them ringing

Prepare for it, give Jah thanks and praise for it

For goodness and mercy we praise the father

Only He can save us from this New-World-Order

Prepare for it, prepare for it

Give praises, glory be to His name

Now, now, now

Prepare for it, give Jah thanks and praise for it

There is too much hissing, and too much kissing

Got to make a change from this one-sided system

Lets pray for it, Jah can make a change in it

Now even the birds have stopped their singing

Discussed at the way my brothers are living

Lets pray for it, Jah will make a way for it

Now, now, now

Give praises, glory be to His name

Prepare for it, youve got to prepare for it

 Now, now, now

Give praises, glory be to His name

Yeh, yeh, yeh

Prepare for it, got to prepare for it

Yeah

I see the rain in the distance falling

Heaven and earth will soon be calling

Prepare for Him

Youve got to prepare for Him

Now

Often I hear the children crying

Brothers of mine I see them dying

It shameful but someones got to pay for it

Now, now, now

Out on the street their calling for order

And their own people committing murder

Its painful but someones got to pay for it

Now

I hear the choir in the distance singing

Doorbells of freedom I hear them ringing

Prepare for it, give Jah thanks and praise for it

For goodness and mercy we praise the father

Only He can save us from this New-World-Order

Prepare for it, prepare for it

When brother is mentioned above it refers to those whom share the same colour of skin, which is one of the flaws in the (Rastafarian) religion.

Holy Quran

Surat Saba'

28. And We have not sent you (O Muhammad SAW) except as a giver of glad tidings and a Messenger to all mankind, but most of men know not.

Having said the above, I can understand that Africans living in the West Indies had to endure some of the most severe conditions (at the hands of European colonialists) merely because of the colour of their skin (and their uncivilised status), hence it is understandable that they would stick together under the premise of the same colour skin.

However the above is not an excuse for them/you to adopt the very same racist attitude (as those colonialists), as Jesus {AS} gracefully put it.

The Gospel

Mark 3

32: And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.

33: And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?

34: And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!

35: For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.
