Question?? Is it permissible for non-Muslims to attend prayer times at a local Mosque?

Yes, you can attend mosque during prayer times. Many mosque in USA give a space for non muslim to obvserve how the muslim pray, specialy during Friday prayer. However for coordination purposes, most of them require you to notify them (set appoinment).
 
You can check this to mosque near to your area.
