Assalamualaikum!

We are expecting a baby and would like to name him Ariz Ahmed, if its a baby boy. I got this name 'Ariz' from quran 46:24 (http://quran.com/46/24), which means cloud. Is this name permissible in Islam? Please advise me.

Assalam Alaikum,

You may try other names like

Suheb -Suheb arrumi Radi Alahu talaa

Salman- Salman Farsi Radi Alahu talaa

Essa - The Rasool Alai hi wassalam
