Thank you for asking. I mean it as a play upon the word democracy. More specifically, I mean it as a play especially upon that type of democracy which is exported from American shores on a gunboat with a reincarnation of Woodrow Wilson, on crack, at the gunboat's helm. This is art, though, and it is probably best to avoid a too literal interpretation ... Serv, artiste

Democracy, perhaps an unreasonable desire, given that those who rule deny us this while giving the impression it is our right. Democracy: the voice of the people who chose their rulers, hoping for true representation when all they are given is a smokescreen for the truth. Democracy: a label obscuring the real agenda: Those very few who control our future by their very greed and lust for power, who take us into war, unwanted and unwarranted. So we abandon out birthright, And call it Free Election! And we believe ourselves satisfied: only we have this advantage... this we tell ourselves, and bury ourselves in the Media: There, you see! But... listen well... The only true Democracy is found on the streets in the hearts and minds of those who are not afraid. You cannot win, we are told, we know better, we speak for you... but we know better still: time will prove us Right. And they call it Anarchy, and we, sociopaths. Perhaps it is time for a new definition of terms.
