Bismillah irrahman irrahim

Assalamu alaikum

every word of Sayyidina Muhammad (saw) makes u ponder, here is what makes me guide to my path.

I am as My servant thinks I am. I am with him when he makes mention of Me. If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assemble better than it. And if he draws near to Me an arm's length, I draw near to him a fathom's length. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed.

this is hadith qudsi, just beautiful, do an act for sake of ur lord n see subhanAllah

Al-Hafiz Abu Yala Al-Mawsili reported from Al-harith bin suwayd from Abdullah that Messenger of Allah(swt) (saw) said "which of you hold his wealth to be more beloved to him than the wealth of his heir?"  the said O Messenger of Allah! the is not a single one of us who does not hold his wealth to be more beloved to him than the wealth of his heir.  The Messenger of Allah then said "know what you are saying" they replied what do we know other than this O Messenger of Allah. He then said "The wealth of one of you is only that which he sends forth, and the wealth of his heir is that which he leaves behind" (al-bukhari)

subhanAllah these days all we care about it this world.

Sayyidina Muhammad (saw) was with his companions and he asked them who they think has strongest of belief or imaan, they all thought for a while and then said 'angels' on this Sayyidina Muhammad (saw) said that angels are in presence of their lord, they take direct orders from their lord what hinders them from having a strong imaan, then sahabah (ra) said 'prophets' on this Sayyidina Muhammad (saw) said we have angels coming to us day and night so what stops us having a strong imaan, then they said 'us the companions'  Sayyidina Muhammad (saw) said u r in my presence and u see my miracles what stops u from having a strong imaan.  upon this sahabah then said Allah swt and his Messenger (saw) know best. then Sayyidina Muhammad (saw)said that those are people who are going to come after us and they will only have what is written down to believe on and they will believe in it

subhanAllah gives me hope and great pleasure, this last hadith i came across when i was reading tafsir a while back so i cant remember the source of it, inshaAllah in future when i do il post it

wassalam

Sayyidina Muhammad (saw) said 'A servant of Allah once said, `O Allah! Yours is the Hamd that is suitable for the grace of Your Face and the greatness of Your Supreme Authority.' The two angels were confused as to how to write these words. They ascended to Allah and said, `O our Lord! A servant has just uttered a statement and we are unsure how to record it for him.' Allah said while having more knowledge in what His servant has said, 'What did My servant say' They said, `He said, `O Allah! Yours is the Hamd that is suitable for the grace of Your Face and the greatness of Your Supreme Authority.' Allah said to them, `Write it as My servant has said it, until he meets Me and then I shall reward him for it'. ibn Majah 2:1249

the wording the person used was 'Ya Rabba laka-alhamdu kama yanmbaghi lejalale wajheka waa'dhime sultaneka'

Sayyidina Muhammad (saw) said 'If the believer knew what punishment Allah has, none would have hope in acquiring His Paradise, and if the disbeliever knew what mercy Allah has, none will lose hope of earning His earning.' Muslim 4:2109

wassalam

Here are a few of my favorites from Bukhari:

Narrated Abu Huraira

Allah's Apostle said, "While a man was walking on a road, he became very thirsty. Then he came across a well, got down into it, drank (of its water) and then came out. Meanwhile he saw a dog panting and licking mud because of excessive thirst. The man said to himself "This dog is suffering from the same state of thirst as I did." So he went down the well (again) and filled his shoe (with water) and held it in his mouth and watered the dog. Allah thanked him for that deed and forgave him." The people asked, "O Allah's Apostle! Is there a reward for us in serving the animals?" He said, "(Yes) There is a reward for serving any animate (living being) ."

Narrated Abu Huraira

A man came to the Prophet and said, "I have been ruined for I have had sexual relation with my wife in Ramadan (while I was fasting)" The Prophet said (to him), "Manumit a slave." The man said, " I cannot afford that." The Prophet said, "(Then) fast for two successive months continuously". The man said, "I cannot do that." The Prophet said, "(Then) feed sixty poor persons." The man said, "I have nothing (to feed them with)." Then a big basket full of dates was brought to the Prophet. The Prophet said, "Where is the questioner? Go and give this in charity." The man said, "(Shall I give this in charity) to a poorer person than l? By Allah, there is no family in between these two mountains (of Medina) who are poorer than we." The Prophet then smiled till his premolar teeth became visible, and said, "Then (feed) your (family with it).

Narrated Abu Huraira

Allah's Apostle said, "A man who never did any good deed, said that if he died, his family should burn him and throw half the ashes of his burnt body in the earth and the other half in the sea, for by Allah, if Allah should get hold of him, He would inflict such punishment on him as He would not inflict on anybody among the people. But Allah ordered the sea to collect what was in it (of his ashes) and similarly ordered the earth to collect what was in it (of his ashes). Then Allah said (to the recreated man ), 'Why did you do so?' The man replied, 'For being afraid of You, and You know it (very well).' So Allah forgave him."
