As-salam-o-alaikum,

***Obey Allah, Obey Messenger and Obey Knowledgeable People***.

Obey Allah;
Follow what Quran Says, and become an obedient servant of Allah Subhana wa taala. SIMPLE!

Obey Rasool;
Rasool (Apbuh) was a perfect example of following what Quran says, so follow Rasool to become an obedient servant of Allah as Rasool was.

Obey Knowledgeable;
Islamically speaking all knowledge is hidden in Quran. When Prophet Sulaiman (Apbuh) asked his companions "Who can bring me the throne of Queen Saba in the shrotest period of time". One who brought that throne with in a blink of eye to him, for him; Allah says was given the knowledge of Ilm-e-Kitaab. Ilm-e-Kitaab means the Knowledge of the book Allah reveals to mankind as a guidance. He had the knowledge of the book of his time. Today we talk, when we talk about the knowledge of book "Quran", those who obtain the knowledge from the Book of Allah are the rightious people to follow or obey.

The essence of this instruction/sign leads to the Obedience of Allah, alone, as they were who we are instructed to follow are the best of the obedient slaves of Allah subhana wa taala who alone rules the universe.

Dear Brother!

You have very beautifully summarized the whole Islam;

Obey Allah (follow Quran), Obey the Messenger (follow Sunnah), and Obey Your Rulers (if they donot give orders against Quran and Sunnah).

Indeed this is the straight path leading to Allah.
