Is it allowed for woman to hug non mahram men?

Wa alaikum,

There are certain rules that Quran prescribes for interaction between men and women. Those rules are built around the idea of modesty, chastity, dignity. The interaction must be based on these rules. Sometimes, in a mixed society, both men and women find them in a situation where they cannot avoid hugging as a gesture of respect not as an invitation for anything else. One based on own's spiritual strength should decide.

Assamulaikum,

I’m a teenager going to College next year and sometimes I get out into situations where I have a slight hug with my friends who are girls and I’m sure I’m from lust cause it’s friendly and really quick would you say that would be ok.
