Why is it that Allah, God the Creator gives us the freedom to choose our path and then some people choose to treat us badly because we have made our choices?

There are many spiritual paths to choose from and only each individual can choose their own path.

We can offer advise and guidance but in the end it is still their choice.

Why is it in some countries some people are being singled out because of their faith path and treated badly and have their dignity taken away when it is their right and freedom to choose what path they want to follow.

As I see it Islam is ancient and a way of life, the word Islam means to submit to the will of Allah, God, the Creator and we all do this in degrees, some 10%, 20%, 30, -80%-95%,99.9% making us all Muslims regardless of wether we belong to a religion or not for in Heaven their are no labels we are just people.

Everyone is Muslim first and then Christian, Bahai, Jewish, Hindu, Seik etc or a person with no religion can and is still Muslim first for they too admitted or not submit in their way to the will of Allah, God, the Creator.

I believe process of Islam is bigger and more just than any religion can ever be.

My question then is why we Muslims (This means all Mankind with or with a religion) treat each other so poorly sometimes?

I believe Islam cannot be solely contain in any one book as the body of knowledge of Islam is so vast it would take millions of years to write it all down.

Having said that there are many books that along with excellent Educators, Counselers and Consultatants can bring everyone to the table to see the good they have done and the bad and then sort them into resolution groups to get to work on creating heaven on Earth and within each of us.  Inspired by Surah 99, 1-8.

Annie the question on "why muslims treat each other so poorly" is a questioned best applied to all humans, not just Muslims. Why do humans treat each other so poorly? Well it could be a variety of reasons not just religious.

Regardless what religious teachings we subscribe to we are all susceptible to failure in matters of kindness and compassion. Not saying these are justifications for ill treatment but in point being, we must always be cognizant of how we deal with one another. Of course we can spak on these things til we're blue and even if we are in the face of divine scripture we will always have people doing such acts within the community of humanity.

Regarding your comment about Islam being contained in one book I think you are looking at it in the wrong sense. Islam in in a "nutshell" is in the Qur'an. The Qur'an consist of basic guidences for human beings who wish to partake in the surrendering of oneself to the Creator of all things.

When the Qur'an ddiscusses on what Islam is, it is not talking about (in deatail) the process of every living thing or how certain things work and don't work. The doctrine is the revitalization of what was lost before which is mankind's primordial faith: Islam.

As I understand it all human beings are Muslim for do not each of us submit to Allah, God, the Creator each in our own ways and in degrees thus making us all Muslims first and Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, Seik, Non Religious second.

True the religion of Islam itself is in one book in one sense.  However all of Islam may never be contained in a Million volumes at least this is my belief.

In my understanding of Islam, Islam is so vast and far reaching that Mankind may only glimpse portions of it in one life time as Knowledge is infinite not finite.

Though in some cases simple verses may hold a recipe for success for each of us, though as time passes many more recipes can and will be revieled that is how Mankind progresses.

In my understanding of Islam the ancient each of us is a treasure trove of wisdom and each of our stories is full of parables that may be recounted and retold in future Surahs and Ayats.

This is to say all life is sacride and who is to choose whose life is less sacride or less valueable than anothers for in hearing of each story is revealed what has been done right and wrong and then there needs to be a great sorting out into groups to learn new and better ways to accomplish true Justice which is Education, Counseling and Consultation.  (This part is inspired by Surah 99, 1-8)

Though many want to cry gloom and doom that does not have to happen, no we are in a time when the very Earth and People may be transformed from the past towards a future where we may create Heaven on Earth and achieve the Greatest wonder of the world which is Peace on Earth and within each of us.

We have the Technology, the Trained and Educated and soon the cooperation to accomplish this Greatest of all tasks Allah, God, The Creator has set for us since the beginning of time.

Islam is the basis for this transformation and it can and will take place in our life time.  Inshallah!

I see great potential in all Mankind not just some of us but all of us.

We are all tested like Moses on the Mountain, Jesus in the Desert, Mohammed in the Caves and Buddha under the Bodhi tree in our daily lives and with Education, Counseling and Consultation we can and will meet our challenges with grace and dignity and fullfill our Station as Messengers of Allah, God, The Creator.

Because Allah, God, The Creator sends each of us to this world with a purpose of most great importance and that is Gaurdian and Care Taker of Each Other and the World.

The world is getting better believe it or not.

I believe in Mankinds ability to set the hurt and ill will in the past and join together in resolution groups to resolve all that challenges we have in this day and the days ahead.

Mankind is going to need this enjoining as to feed, house, educate, counsel, consult all the share holders and debrief them so all their troubles may be known and brought to  the table for a peaceful, caring, nurturing resolution.

There is hope and we are that hope.

Allah only creates things that have value and purpose.

I have been away for awhile and look forward to consulting further on Islam the Aancient and all that it means.
