Assalamu Alaikum,
Ramadan Kareem to everyone.
I have an issue with my husband. I’m not sure how to handle it: this happened after we did sihur and started fasting.
we were both sleeping on the sofas yesterday because it was too hot in our room.
Anyways I usually fall asleep fast but sometimes I’m not completely asleep. I can still hear sounds near me. I was shocked to hear girl moaning and at first I though I was dreaming but then quickly realized what’s going on. My husband was watching porn in Ramadan. The volume was high and he was watching thinking I’m asleep I won’t hear anything. I continued to pretend that I’m asleep to see how long this will go on. I kid you not this dude stayed all night and hour after an hour watching porn and going back and forth to the bathroom. I caught him once before and I was mad at him and swore on allahs name he will not do it again but here he is doing it with high volume right next to me.
Im just not sure what to do. It’s not like I’m not giving him his rights. I even ask him if he wants to but sometimes I fall asleep . I have no doubt that he’s been doing this many times before because sometimes I would wake up 7a.m and he’s on his phone with headphones on.
I don’t know how to handle this situation. I know if I talk to him about it as usual he will either deny everything or he will swear on allahs name that he won’t do it again just to end the conversation Or shut me up.
The situation to me personally is disgusting and it really hurts a mans ego in my eyes. I don’t respect such men at all. He is a grown married Muslim man and he should know better then to watch porn with high volume next to his wife.
