Assalamu Alaikum!

Sister Suzanne, could you please use another term instead of "Farfar". That would, hopefully, make the question clear to me.

Peace

Salem, Salem (I was in a hurry and did not put, as I know I should always put grettings)

Well, I am not for sure how else to ask. But, I will try. I was told if I ask for forgiveness, really repent to ALLAH swt that I would be as "farfar". So, I have never heared this farfar before and wanted a better explanation. Thanks.,

Bismillah,

I read the link, but I didn't see what farfar means  in it.

Assalamu Alaikum!

I am not able to locate the term "farfar" either. However, her concern in the following sentence implied to me that it was somehow linked to "asking for forgiveness and repenting to Allah".

(Suzanne ) "I was told if I ask for forgiveness, really repent to ALLAH swt that I would be as "farfar"."

If the above link doesn't help, somebodyelse might help her or she should ask a scholar.

Peace

I do believe in the intention that really count. God is spirit and he sees our spirit. When we intent on something Allah knows it already. As long as the dealing is between us and God direct than it is His nature to forgive. But if there is/are a third party involved than that need to be settled first.

Make Allah as friend in this life, and everything else don't matter. Allah is all there is to it, nothing else exist. We are from Allah and to Allah is the returning.

Salaam.

Bismillah,

Dear Sister Suzanne,

I asked a reliable source, my husband, what farfar means and he said it doesn't have any religious conotations.  It could be short for a person's name, but that's all.

Peace.

Wa Alaikum Salam

Maybe the transliteration is incorrect, try pasting the actual Arabic word.
