As Salam Alaikum Muslimeen, I have noticed alot of brothers posting in the sisters section and alot of sisters posting in the brothers section. I am wondering if it is supposed to be like this and if anybody minds. I do not want to make any sister uncomfortable or anything by me being in the sisters section so if anybody has a problem with it, please speak up so I and the other brothers can avoid that section. The same also goes for the brothers. We must respect each others privacy if it is desired to have privacy.

Bismillah, I've noticed that on this forum the brothers and sisters talk freely unless the topic starter specifically requests that it be only sisters or brothers responding. I'm not Muslim, but if my opinion counts, I think it makes sense to have those two sections ONLY for that specific gender. Otherwise, why have them? Maybe it should be more specific, that only brothers reply in their section, and only sisters reply in the sisters section. Maybe we should post a "GIRLS ONLY", or "NO BOYS ALLOWED" sign on our section. God's Peace. ------------- Patty I don't know what the future holds....but I know who holds the future. |

This is a public forum, you cannot really stop both genders from looking in on each others sections, it is impossible. The only thing that can be done is what muslims sisters do already request that only sisters to respond. You cannot stop people from reading anyway even if one is a guest and not a member. If you truly want to talk personal as in personal then see who is a sister and PM them. You cannot block a bother or a sister from entering, you cannot go on names alone to find out who's who, as it is my name is for both genders and i have been called brother once or twice -------------  ~ Our feet are earthbound, but our hearts and our minds have wings ~

I agree with Angel, why should their ONLY be a women's
section? I have seen some sisters post some explicit things and the moderators the next day, would removed what was said so I doubt what we "brothers" might see in a woman's forum is nothing too vivid or explicit than in our own section. I also think its good to get a male's perspective because women as well as men might make incorrect generalizations on behavior wihout the other side defending itself. |
