Asalam Alaykum

Sorry for your loss.  (of course the verses are an english interpatation)

Quran 5:9

Allah has promised to those who believe and do good deeds that they shall have forgiveness and a mighty reward.

Quran 44:51 & 55-57

Surely those who guard against evil are in a secure place, in gardens and springs.

They shall call therein for every fruit in security; they shall not taste therein death except the first death, and he will save them from the punishment of hell. A grace from your Lord, this is a great achivement.

Allah is the one who created life and death in order to try us and to determine which one of us will do a more beatiful work.(written in  Surah 67 verse 2)

Hope she will be forgiven by Allah and be accepted to heaven. As far as I remember she had a difficult time during her last few months because of a serious mental illness. Death sometimes comes as a reward.

Life on earth is a blinking time when compared to the endless life.

Allah will give you the patience to face this grief.

Thank you all  Yes on1on5 she did have a difficult time during her last 2 months.  but Allah blessed me with the privilege to care for her. This discussion board has been wonderful in helping me through this process.  My husband and I were able to provide the care she need with Allah's help.

Say: "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

My deepest condolences.

Ill say what our prophet said when his son died. He cried and said: "Indeed the heart saddens, and the eye tears, and we are over your departure saddened, and we do not say exept that which pleases our lord".

To Allah we belong and to Him is our return. To Allah we belong and to Him is our return. To Allah we belong and to Him is our return.

Hi senekerk:

May Allah help you face this tough moment. Insha Allah ( Allah willing ), time would heel the wound.

We all have to leave this world today or tomorrow.

To Allah we belong and to Him is our return.

May Allah guide us all.

Peace
