Take your prayer seriously and make sure you are doing it correctly even when pressed for time or with limited resources available .

This hadith is about the importance of praying properly even if it takes a short amount of time. The narrator, Hudhaifah, saw someone praying but their bowing and prostration were lacking. He asked the man how long he had been praying like this and the man said forty years. Hudhaifah then told him that if he died while still praying like this he would have died following a path other than that of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He then said it was possible for someone to pray briefly but still do it properly. This hadith teaches us that we should take our prayer seriously and make sure we are doing it correctly even if we are pressed for time or have limited resources available to us. We should strive to follow the example set by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in all aspects of our lives including prayer so that when we die, we will be on his path and not another's path.
