QUICK LESSONS:
Greet others with peace when you meet them

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith talks about the prayer of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It was narrated by Wasi' bin Habban that he asked Ibn 'Umar about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah. Ibn 'Umar mentioned that during his prayer, Prophet Muhammad would say "As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah" to his right and "As-salamu 'alaykum" to his left. This shows us how important it is for Muslims to greet each other with peace when they meet, even during their prayers. It also teaches us that we should be kind and respectful towards others, no matter what situation we are in.
