This hadith highlights the importance of paying attention to detail when performing prayer. It was narrated from 'Imran bin Husain that the Prophet performed three rak'ahs and then said taslim, which is a signifier that one has completed their prayer. However, Al-Khirbaq noticed that he had only prayed three instead of four and so informed him. The Prophet responded by leading them in praying the remaining rak'ah before saying taslim again and doing two prostrations of forgetfulness as a precautionary measure for any mistakes made during his prayer. This teaches us to be mindful when performing our prayers as even small details can make a difference in our worship being accepted or not by Allah SWT.
