QUICK LESSONS:
Fast intermittently throughout the year such as during Ramadan or certain days in a week/month

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of intermittent fasting and how it can benefit our spiritual health. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that we should not fast every day as it can be detrimental to our physical and mental wellbeing. Instead he encouraged us to fast intermittently throughout the year such as during the month of Ramadan or on certain days in a week or month. This type of intermittent fasting helps us to maintain a balance between our physical and spiritual needs while still allowing us to reap the rewards from Allah SWT for engaging in this act of worship. It also helps us to stay focused on our faith and remember Allah SWT more often throughout the year instead of just during Ramadan when we are more likely to be distracted by worldly matters.
