Love for the Ansar as a Sign of Faith

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) taught that loving the Ansar is a sign of faith and hating them is a sign of hypocrisy.

Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, "Love for the Ansar is a sign of faith and hatred for the Ansar is a sign of hypocrisy".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَبْرٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ آيَةُ الإِيمَانِ حُبُّ الأَنْصَارِ، وَآيَةُ النِّفَاقِ بُغْضُ الأَنْصَارِ

He also warned against hatred for the Ansar, which he said was a sign of hypocrisy. This hadith emphasizes how important it is to show love and kindness to those who help us in our lives, whether they are family members or friends. It also teaches us that we should not be hypocritical in our actions; instead we should strive to be honest and sincere with everyone we meet. By doing so, we can demonstrate our true faith in Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.
