QUICK LESSONS:
Give away some of your money in charity or zakat .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the obligation of paying zakat or charity. The Prophet Muhammad exempted people from having to pay zakat on horses and slaves but they should still pay zakat on their wealth. According to this hadith, for every two hundred dirhams of wealth a person has they must give five dirhams in charity or zakat. This is an important teaching as it encourages us to help those who are less fortunate than us by giving away some of our money in charity or zakat. It also teaches us that we should not be selfish with our money and instead use it for the benefit of others as well as ourselves.
