The Power of Intercession

SUMMARY: Intercession is an act of mediation between two parties and Allah has the power to accept or reject it.

It was narrated from Abu Musa that the Prophet said: "Intercede and your intercession may be accepted, and Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, decrees on the lips of His Prophet whatsoever He will".

QUICK LESSONS:
Have faith in God's will and trust in His decisions; Attempt mediation between two parties; Try for intercessions.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the power of intercession. It was narrated by Abu Musa that the Prophet said that one can intercede and their intercession may be accepted by Allah. However, it is important to note that Allah has the ultimate power to accept or reject any form of intercession. This hadith also highlights how Allah decrees on the lips of His Prophet whatever He wills. Therefore, this hadith teaches us that we should always have faith in God's will and trust in His decisions even if they are not what we expected them to be.
