Ask for permission before entering someone else’s home; Be mindful of Islamic teachings; Respect others’ privacy; Remove any pictures or statues from your own home if they go against Islamic teachings.

This hadith is about the importance of removing any images from one's home. It was narrated by Abu Hurairah that Jibril asked permission to enter the Prophet's home and when he did he noticed there were images on the curtain. He then advised the Prophet to either cut off their heads or make it into a rug so that they could be stepped on as angels do not enter a house with images. This hadith teaches us that we should be mindful of what we have in our homes and ensure that it does not contain anything which goes against Islamic teachings such as having pictures or statues of people or animals in our homes. We should also remember to ask for permission before entering someone else's home out of respect for them and their privacy.
