The Sword of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) had a sword with a silver pommel.

It was narrated that Sa'eed bin Abi Al-Hasan said: "The pommel of the sword of the Messenger of Allah SAW was of silver".
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ زُرَيْعٍ - عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ كَانَتْ قَبِيعَةُ سَيْفِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us about the sword of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It was narrated by Sa'eed bin Abi Al-Hasan that the pommel of the sword was made out of silver. This shows us how important it is to take care and maintain our belongings. It also teaches us to be mindful and conscious when it comes to spending money on things that are not necessary. Furthermore, this hadith reminds us that even though we may have something valuable or expensive in our possession, we should still use it responsibly and take care of it as if it were priceless.
