Seek justice even if it means making difficult decisions; Show compassion towards others; Be wise when making decisions; Respect mothers and children's bond; Follow what Allah has commanded through His Prophets' teachings .

This hadith is about a dispute between two women over a child. The women went to two prophets, Dawud and Sulaiman, for help in settling their dispute. When they told their story to Dawud, he ruled that the child belonged to the older woman. However when they told their story to Sulaiman he suggested cutting the child in half so each woman could have an equal share of him. The younger woman then said she would give her share of him away so that he could stay with his mother instead of being cut in half. After hearing this, Sulaiman ruled that the child belonged with his mother and not with either one of them. This hadith teaches us about justice and compassion as well as how important it is for mothers and children to be together. It also shows us how wise these prophets were in making decisions even when faced with difficult situations like this one.
