Sahih al-Bukhari 20 (Book 2, Hadith 13) #20
Doing Deeds According To Strength

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) teaching his followers to do deeds that are easy for them to do according to their strength and endurance. He also reminds them that he is the most Allah-fearing and knows Allah better than all of them.

Narrated 'Aisha: Whenever Allah's Messenger ordered the Muslims to do something, he used to order them deeds which were easy for them to do, (according to their strength and endurance). They said, "O Allah's Messenger ! We are not like you. Allah has forgiven your past and future sins". So Allah's Apostle became angry and it was apparent on his face. He said, "I am the most Allah fearing, and know Allah better than all of you do".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about how Prophet Muhammad PBUH taught his followers to do deeds according to their strength and endurance. He reminded them that he was the most God fearing person, and knew God better than any of them did. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive to do our best in whatever we are doing, but not push ourselves beyond our limits as it can be detrimental for us in the long run. We should also remember that no matter how much knowledge or faith we have, there will always be someone who knows more than us or has a greater faith than ours. Therefore, it is important for us to stay humble and never think too highly of ourselves as this can lead us astray from the path of righteousness.
