Seeking Refuge with Allah from Five Things

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us to seek refuge with Allah from five things, which are the torment of the grave, the torment of Hell, the trials of life and death, and the evil of Al-Masihid-Dajjal.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that: The Messenger of Allah SAW used to seek refuge with Allah from five things, saying: "Seek refuge with Allah from the torment of the grave, and from the torment of Hell, and from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of Al-Masihid-Dajjal".

QUICK LESSONS:
Seek refuge with Allah whenever faced with difficulty or hardship ; remember His mercy ; rely on Him instead of ourselves alone .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to seek refuge in Allah from five things. These include seeking protection from the punishment in the grave after death, seeking protection from punishment in hellfire after judgement day, seeking protection against trials that come during life such as poverty or sickness, seeking protection against trials that come at death such as fear or regret for not doing enough good deeds during life; and finally seeking protection against Al-Masihid-Dajjal who is an evil figure mentioned in Islamic texts. This hadith teaches us to always turn to Allah for help when we face difficulties or hardships in our lives. We should remember that no matter how hard a situation may seem at first glance, if we put our trust in God He will provide a way out for us.
