Ablution for Sexual Defilement

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) would perform ablution when he was sexually defiled before sleeping.

'A’ishah reported: when the prophet intended to sleep while he was sexually defiled, he would perform ablution as he did for prayer.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ كَانَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَنَامَ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ تَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلاَةِ

According to the hadith reported by A'ishah, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would perform ablution when he was sexually defiled before sleeping.
