Answered Supplications

SUMMARY: Supplications are answered if one does not give up hope.

Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah as saying: "One of you is granted an answer (to his supplication) provided he does not say: 'I prayed but I was not granted an answer'."

QUICK LESSONS:
Make supplications with faith & patience without giving up hope

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of supplication and having hope that it will be answered. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that when we make a supplication to Allah SWT, He will answer it as long as we do not give up hope. This means that even if our prayer is not immediately answered, we should still have faith and trust in Allah SWT that He will answer our prayers in His own time. We should never lose hope or become discouraged when making a supplication because Allah SWT knows what is best for us and He will always provide us with the answers to our prayers at the right time.

This hadith also teaches us about patience and perseverance; even if our prayers are not immediately answered, we must remain patient and continue to have faith in Allah SWT’s plan for us. We must remember that everything happens according to His divine plan and timing; therefore, it is important for us to remain hopeful despite any delays or obstacles along the way.
