Raise your hands while making supplications with your palms facing your face.

This hadith is about the proper way to make supplications or du’as. It is narrated by Ibn ‘Abbas that when making a du’a, one should raise their hands and direct their palms towards their face. This shows humility and sincerity in asking for help from Allah. It also shows that we are not ashamed to ask for help from Allah as He is our Creator and knows what we need even before we ask Him for it.
