The aforesaid tradition has also been transmitted by 'Amr b. Murrah through a different chain of narrators to the same effect. This version adds: "And make right guidance easy for me". The narrator did not say: "my right guidance". Abu Dawud said: Sufyan heard eighteen traditions from 'Amr b. Murrah.
This hadith teaches us the importance of having faith in Allah and relying on Him for help when times are tough or when we feel lost or confused about what direction we should take in life. It also reminds us that no matter how difficult things may seem at times, He will always be there with His mercy and grace if we turn to Him sincerely asking for His help and guidance.
