Completing Obligatory Circumambulation

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was informed that Safiyyah, daughter of Huyayy had completed her obligatory circumambulation and he said there was no need to stay any longer.

Narrated 'Aishah: The Messenger of Allah mentioned about Safiyyah, daughter of Huyayy. He was told that she had menstruated. The Messenger of Allah said: She may probably detain us. They (the people) said: She has performed the obligatory circumambulation (Tawaf al-Ziyarah). He said: If so, there is no need (of staying any longer).
