Prayer of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the prayer of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the distance between him and the qiblah.

The aforesaid tradition has also been transmitted by Malik through a different chain of narrators. He ('Abd Al Rahman bin Mahdi) did not mention the words "pillars". This version adds "He then prayed and there was a distance of three cubits between him and the qiblah".
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ الأَذْرَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ لَمْ يَذْكُرِ السَّوَارِيَ قَالَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَبَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ ثَلاَثَةُ أَذْرُعٍ

This hadith is about the prayer of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and how he prayed with a distance of three cubits between him and the qiblah. This hadith teaches us to be mindful while praying, to maintain a certain distance from our qiblah so that we can focus on our prayers without any distractions. It also teaches us to be humble in our prayers as it was narrated that Prophet ﷺ used to keep his head low while praying.
